So its been a BIG week ... instigated by the arrival of two Indian Murtis (activated deity statues) Maha Lakshmi & Maha Saraswati, which I had the honour of hosting in my cottage for a few days.

The fire shakti (energy) was very Maha indeed ... so Maha in fact that I managed to set fire to myself the other day whilst warming myself in front of the fire. I turned around and the flames were licking up the back of my skirt!!!! Thankfully no bums were burned as a result .... but the 'fire under the arse' metaphor was definitely noted and very appropriate ha ha

So my first BIG news of the week is that I've been accepted as a member of the 'Design and Craft Council of Ireland' ..... Whooo Hooo!!!  Here's a link to my webpage on their website_

Red Breasted Phoenix

The day Joy returned .....
A cheeky crooner came to preen
Took perch upon my wing mirror
Peered in through a dust smeared windscreen

Joy had been lonely in the bushes
Hide and go-seek such a solitary game
From whom had Joy been hiding?
Go-seeking so much restrained!

But a shaft of Springtime Sunlight
Dared to dance in her den of demise
Stoked Life in scattered cinders
'RED BREASTED PHOENIX, ARISE!'

Joy invoked all her Courage
Passion, Self-Love and Trust
And let them shine from her swollen heart
To Laugh again Joy must

So alighting on my wing-mirror
Robin's song was crystal clear
Why focus on what's behind you?

These last few weeks I've been busy creating my new stage, for getting out and about  to the Summer Markets and Craft Events.

Recently my  fabulous new tree hat stands arrived .... courtesy of my lovely friend Jay :))))

I decided, that   if its necessary for me to go out and about and temporarily leave my den in the woods, I may as well take some of the woods with me ;)

I know i've posted this hat before .... but I got a cracker of a shot today while taking advantage of some gorgeous Spring Sunshine to take more pics .... good LIGHT really works for me ;)
